Europium cryptate-NH2 labeling reagent enables Europium cryptate labeling of biomolecules.


Europium cryptate-NH2, is a do-it-yourself solution for labeling peptides, oligonucleotides or proteins with Europium cryptate.This reagent is ideal for experienced users familiar with labeling and chromatography. Used in combination with bi-functional reagents such as carbodiimides and SMCC/SPDP. Maleimide group generated by SMCC activation of the Europium cryptate-NH2 reacts with the thiol generated by SPDP/DTT treatment on the biomolecules to label.



Assay protocol

As shown here, preactivation of both the Europium cryptate and the biomolecule may be required. Recovery of labeled material can be achieved using conventional chromatographic methods, such as gel filtration or HPLC. The purification devices required for recovering labeled material are not delivered with these reagents.
